Like Monk, looked upon as a bit of an off kilter maverick back in the day but now it does not seem especially radical but simply superbly realised improvisatory jazz.
Long time rock, blues and jazz fanatic who became interested in classical music seven years ago. I now find I spend proportionately much more time on classical and have pared down my old rock etc collection considerably.
